Everette Shoub passed away last night, Oct. 8, at about 11:30pm.
He was 37.
His memorial is Monday, Oct. 13, at 12pm at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Mobile. A memorial service will follow at 1pm.

Here is a comment that I wanted to post…
My Children Stephanie and Nicole Smith grew up with Everette. Nicole was especially close. Sheila, Everette’s Mother was my best friend and Big Everette was my Husband, Smitty, best friend. Years have past, children grow up, we moved away and lost contact. My memories of Everette is as a child. He was adorable, smart and sweet. Always taking care of his little Sisters Jeanette and Margarete. He was afraid of clowns and snapping turtles. I remember Birthday parties, Halloweens, and XMas eves spent together.
I am praying for a miracle. We love you Everette.

Everette Shoub will be removed from life support on Sunday evening (UAB Hospital in B’ham). His memorial service will be tentatively held on Wednesday in Mobile.

This is from an email from Everette’s sister…
“Everette fell Saturday night and hit his head in his garage. He was life flighted to UAB. He had brain surgery on Sunday morning to remove a blood clot on his brain. He is still not awake, and remains in ICU. He made some progress yesterday, but overnight he has had some complications with the swelling in his brain and his ability to distribute oxygen. The nurses and doctors have been phenomenal as they have walked us through what his poor body is going through. Pictures of his 5 year old, Grayson, are posted at the foot of his bed to watch over him.
I would like to ask everyone to pray for my brother and my family. His neurologist told us last night that it is now in the hands of time, God, and Everette’s will to fight. “

I loved seeing everyone! I just got home last night…actually this morning…and I’m downloading the pictures. I will post them sometime today.
I HAD SO MUCH FUN!!!! Everyone looked great and some looked incredible!!!! We all know who I’m talking about…

Hello all…
NEXT WEEKEND is the reunion! I can’t believe it!
We will have a great turnout. We still need payments from some of those that have rsvp’d but haven’t paid. We are giving the Riverview a head count next week so we need to know you are coming…and we need your money!
It will be great to see everyone…and guess who’s coming that we didn’t see at the 10 year…Lance Covan! {and LOTS more}

I’m off to Houston for two weeks and then to Mobile! I’m flying out with three kids, about twelve suitcases, car seats, sippy cups, PSP’s,video players, etc….I’ll need a drink…!!!!

Married/ How long… 9 years this November, but we dated for 10 1/2 years BEFORE we got marrried, so we have been together for 19 years. What was I thinking?? We met in a class at South Alabama. Mark is a CRNA at Mobile Infirmary, so if you have surgery there, he may be the one putting you to sleep.
Kids… a nine month old daughter, Kippen, she is the best thing ever, and so worth the wait.
Where living?…. in Daphne, love it except all the growth, it was so nice several years ago with just 4 way stops.
What brought here?.. my parents wanted to get away from the growth in west Mobile, so they bought property in Daphne. It had aguest house, so I moved in. Mark and I bought an acre from my parents and built a house. I also have my business here…. Horses!!
What do you do?…. Well I have BFA in Graphic Design, but now I am a stay at home mom, and I teach horseback riding lessons, and train horses. My students and I compete all over the Southeast.
Guilty pleasure?… Kippen, and my horses, Sorry I don’t drink coffee!
